Obstacles

In life we know that we will have few guarantees. The one we do not like to think about but have reminders all the time is death. We know we are not immortal. Eventually we will die. Not something we like to think about. We also know that life has highs, lows, and brings barriers that will need to be overcome in achieving our goals and dreams. We have barriers to entry for markets. We have barriers with customer acceptance and expectations. We have barriers in our relationships that we need to overcome. The person that said no the first time you mustered the courage to ask them out. That was an experience that you will never forget good or bad. When we harness experiences and lessons learned we can overcome all obstacles. We have many experiences like first kiss, first date, first car, first deal you closed. All of these experiences allow us to develop and achieve our goals and dreams. When we are striving to achieve our goals we will face obstacles that will challenge us to think outside our comfort zone. These times will bring the best out of us.

As a human being we do not like change. We like repetition because we do not like to think. When we think about something we will usually have to make choices. Exactly why we love TV! Find the remote and veg away. No questions asked and the only thing you need to think about is what you want to watch or if you can hold it to the next commercial. When we make a choice we are exposed to risk. Think about your corporate experience and how easy it was for your middle manager to approve your expense report…..LOL! It was like asking for them to sign their life away. A risk exposes us to possible failure. We do not like failure. We like to make easy choices and the best decisions we love to make “no brainers.” So if you have a product or service be extremely critical and ask the question, have we made this product or service a “no brainer” for purchase? If you have, the numbers will speak for themselves. If you have not, this is the good news. Today you can quickly make changes and test again. In fact you should never stop testing and analyzing your customer experiences to ensure every experience is the best one your product or service can provide.

The next time you hit an obstacle on your journey in achieving your have no fear but embrace it. You are growing!

Make it a great day!

The Power has shifted to you! Don’t waste it! Be awakened!

It’s called Neuro Marketing and it has been used for some time now on our human predictable behavior for capitalistic gain. We live in a capitalistic society so everyone should be ok with this. We love to be entertained by sitting down watching TV in most cases so the companies and people that do the entertaining should be paid billions of dollars. You don’t have any issue with this do you? It is a fair trade?

We bring you the movie, show, or game on our schedule on our platform on the time we want to show you this and make the most money for us and you will be fine with this because how else are you going to watch the content?

Eureka!

We have many ways!

Does that mean we should? That is not the point.

The world has changed because of technology bringing our world closer together so we can share and collaborate.

What is the opposite of a completely connected world? Complete isolation…

We all can produce content and we can all publish to the subscribers. The best kept non secret from society. Look at what just happened when we let children try. Two children reached space with a balloon and a camera. Brilliant! No barriers had an idea and went for it. We have been trained by society to just follow the rules. Do what you are told. Who made the rules? Why can’t I challenge the rules? Because you just can not? What happens if we really start thinking about our world as we know it?

We are not headed in the right direction with our core pillars. Education has lost focus. Not kept up to our children’s abilities to absorb the cloud of information hitting them everyday. What happens when they are distracted? We hit them with drugs. Call it a learning disability. An entire multi billion dollar empire has been formed. You don’t care about what is in the standard immune shots we just let them give our children. We always hear the extremes from the pharma industry like polio vaccinations. Now we can research what they have chosen to stick into our children. We always have a choice. Be aware and do your research.

We are not utilizing all the data we have collected.

The companies that do understand this concept our developing exactly what we have said we want and confirmed what we want and created the want. Sounds full proof to me. Trust me I do the same thing. I’m not a dentist guy and I think that is another thing that has turned into a multi billion dollar business. White teeth, electric tooth brush. Makes sense to me…These new brushes do what I never did. The perfect circular motion we were taught by our mothers. Now they have developed an OralB power brush. Works great. I’m sure you use one.  We can control the people by using media channels to make them buy things. WOW! What a concept. But none of that matters unless you act on your predictability. When you think about when radio was invented and then TV we never realized what was truly going on. Meaning we were just so happy to gather in our homes and listen to the play by play of a hockey game. Not thinking twice about the ads coming on before and after. Not realizing why all of a sudden you reached for coke at the corner store vs. Pepsi. However, now we do understand what is gong on. Neuro marketing has been in effect for a while. A great phrase that I once heard was focus on what you can control. Simple but absolutely bang on. We control our thoughts right?” So it turns out we think we do but our impulse to reach for a brand is caused by the multi billion dollar businesses. So what? We are being influenced every day by our predictability. He who owned the viewership we pay billions for their views. Now we have a social media empire that if it was a country it would be the 3rd largest in the world. So now what? Make billions on our data so they can make you buy billon dollars of goods. How do we get a piece of the action? After all we created this data trail everyday. Why do we not change our predictable behavior and ask brands to pay us for our participation? Maybe it is because we never asked and we have been trained to not ask but to consume, consume, consume.

Do we trust brands to provide us everything we need?

How do they know what we need?

Do they know us?

Have you shared everything your favorite brand needs to know about you?

Now you are realizing the power of the web and the real power of social media. Everything we do online is quantifiable. This was the brilliance of FB.

This created two camps. The one that says I will not participate I will not surrender my information to anyone. The other gives all the information they can because they have to feed their animals in Farmville. LOL!

Do we not know what’s going on here?

Who are the highest paid people on the planet?

Why?

We have decided that people that go on this dictatorship one way media deserve it. You agree right? So fork over more money for that specialty channel that already makes tons of money from ads but you are used to paying.

Look at our government system. Fork over your taxes because we provide you everything you need. Schools that have an outdated curriculum, hospitals that play roulette with our loved ones on when a dispatcher shares they have a patient to actually where they go and making sure the payment process is in place.

Why?

Could it be….Because we have never asked?

We all have a duty to make this world the best place possible because for now this is the only planet we can live.

Make it a great day!

Three Key Words to Corporate Success in 2011

Giving, Innovation, and Environment.

I believe these three words create success or failure in 2011 and beyond. Corporations that have always looked at how do we make or save money must start to develop teams and employees that will challenge and not fear standards and the status-quo. Push us to think differently. Realize that every one of us has the ability to create new and innovative products and services that will have a greater impact on bettering our lives and the environment we all interact in. Do we think shareholders will not ask for financial targets to be achieved because we are in a recession? NOT! That would not be acceptable.
Giving is the most important of these words. This will require a change in the entire outdated education system that was created back in WWII. Back then government wanted to train people to work in factories and follow the rules not engage in thought leadership. We must promote helping others succeed and achieve. When one child fails we all fail. This is not an individual challenge. This is our planets challenge. We must work together to give people what they need to be self sufficient and succeed. This mentality that employees need to be supervised and given detail books and manuals on what do to do and how is over. The books are outdated and so is this mentality. The training and curriculum must change that we can create the future innovations, products and services right here in Canada. We must promote thought leaders to find new ways that are more efficient and provide customers with easier to use products and services that can cure cancer fight obesity and start saving the environment. When animals become extinct we are next. We are losing animal species everyday. It’s a challenge for every human on this planet that we need to overcome.
Many corporations have started doing great work for charities and this should not stop. I see the future providing more opportunities for employees to give to the charity of their choice and run more user generated contests (UGC) that promote environment, innovation, and giving! Amazing award winning companies have solution out of the box like Filemobile UGC solutions. This is the next step on the journey. Engagement with our communities we have built and nurtured for the good of all humanity. We can all make a difference.

It’s our choice.

Let’s make the right choice.

Make it a great day!
