Unfortunate times can build your brand or cost your company business!

As we all know the economy has slowed down and caused many people including myself and companies exposed to making basic payments. I’m sure many of you know someone that has lost their job and or can not make payments. When you have these unforeseen circumstances what should you do? What can you do?

1.     Call the company/person and share with them your circumstances. Good time to discuss your partnership history.
2.     Share with them when you think you can pay. Remember when you don't pay they can't pay and it trickles down.
3.     Discuss payment arrangements that work for everyone involved. Everyone should feel better and life goes on.

Folks it’s our human nature to do what’s right. This is why we pay our bills and help our friends and family every day. It is our duty as a human being. However, when someone has unforeseen circumstances and can not pay lets work with the company or individual to make payments. If you don’t be prepared to lose business! The people and companies that do not work with you in these tough times have exemplified they do not see the value in the relationship. We know that a new relationship or partnership needs to be created when this occurs.

With the creation of the Web we have the power to spread information globally with the click of a button to share these experiences good or bad with the communities we choose. Let’s take advantage and share with our family and friends the brands and companies that will work with us and share about the ones that forgot why we chose to business with them in our good times.

So the choice is yours, act accordingly!

Stay tuned to for my next blog that will illustrate companies that believe they are not required to support their products because they are a global brand. Or a utility company that dictates the rules of who will have heat and who will not. An 8 year relationship means nothing.

The world has never been exposed to the rapid change we are seeing with the evolution of social media and the web. This power will bring new challenges while we focus on using these powers for good we will have many that will focus on the bad. The choice is yours.

Make it a great day!
