In an effort to survive as an entrepreneur in these challenging times I’m adjusting my business and go-to market strategy daily. As all business owners know assessing what is working and what’s not is a never ending process. For some reason in an effort to collect my accounts receivables I missed paying my bill last month to Bryans Fuel. I have been a customer since 2001. I’m on the plan where they just come and fill my tank and take it right out my chequeing account. Not a focus and did not realize this miss.
Do you think they called me? They not only did not call me they stopped the process and did not fill up my tank. This means for my two daughters and I we will have no hot water. Thankfully this took place when I did not have my daughters. Can you imagine….? So the other week I had three days of ice cold showers. I was very alert those mornings. LOL! When I went to the place to pay the guy I spoke with on the phone I could tell he was the guy that sat back in the office while people waited in line. Never checking to see if anyone needed help! Two girls worked the desk and both were tied up so it was a 20 minute wait. These people know that if we have an oil furnace we have know choice but to deal with these dictator processes. So when I paid them a partial payment they shared that they would send out a truck the next day. They did so this was a positive however since my tank was bone dry I required a service person to bleed my lines so another day went by. This process was really unacceptable and showed me how they deal with people that have been hit with financial hardship. Not good. He shared with me we are in business to make money. Almost like it’s about the money we could careless about the relationship.
After thinking over my options once the revenue starts flowing (pardon the pun) again I will be going with geo thermal and you know who I will not be calling to install. Bryan ’s Fuel bye bye and one day when your business dries up (pardon the pun) you may want to learn why!
Remember always give everything you have at anything you do and you will always see rewards.
Make it a great day!
