How many times have you received a business card and it had the word senior in the title?
How did this make you feel?
Why do we use this word in our titles?
Do we think that our prospect will feel safe dealing with a Sr. vs. Jr.?
Do we ever see Junior on business cards?
Is their an age range for what defines a “Senior” person versus a “Junior” person in business like we do in school?
Why not?
Does a title really matter to a prospect or a client?
Some people call themselves Sales Professionals or Certified Sales Professionals…..
Who certifies these people?
Who certified the program?
As a person that loves developing new business and building new relationships, and continually strengthening existing ones, let’s start spending less effort on titles and more effort to listening, driving value, and delivering immediate customer service to our clients.
Do you really think your customer focuses on your title when they want to make a purchase of your product or service?
Make it a great day!
